General FAQ & Code of Conduct

  • What is the Earth Illuminated experience?
    • Earth Illuminated is a real life, self guided journey, through our show with a quick pre show.
  • Is this a selfie museum?
    • Earth Illuminated is not a selfie museum, however it is still amazing for taking photos. 
  • Can I purchase tickets in person?
    • Tickets are available for purchase online and in person. Guests that are military, first responder, or senior may request a special discount in person for onsite sales.
  • Do you accept cash?
    • To limit person-to-person contact, we are only accepting credit and debit cards.
  • Where is Earth Illuminated located?
    • Pointe Orlando Mall off of International Drive in Orlando Florida located at 9101 International Drive, Suite 2300, Orlando Florida. We are on the second floor next to the Funny Bone Comedy Club (formerly known as Improv), right next to the parking garage.
  • Do you offer group bundles?
    • Group bundles can be booked online or in person, keep an eye out for the best deal for your group.
  • I purchased a ticket through Groupon, when can I redeem my tickets?
    • All tickets purchased from Groupon will be redeemable any day after the date or purchase. Guests who purchase Groupon tickets day of will be charged an additional fee upon redemption, to avoid this fee we encourage guests to redeem their ticket any day after the date of purchase.
  • What ages is Earth Illuminated appropriate for?
    • Earth Illuminated if perfect for all ages! Children 5 and Under enjoy free admission, while seniors can request an onsite only senior discount.
  • What can I expect when I check in?
    • When you arrive to check in for your launch our onsite crew will ensure all tickets are checked in, that waivers are signed for all individuals 17 years and older, and put a wristband on your preferred wrist. If you purchase a bundle deal or add-on, the upgraded items will be provided to you as well. 
  • Will I have enough time if I purchase the last launch of the day?
    • Guests who purchase tickets for the last launch of the day will receive the full hour. Our crew will let you know when this hour is finishing up, but will wait till the final guest finishes their adventure. 
  • How long should I plan to be at Earth Illuminated?
    • Guests are provided one hour inside our show and we kindly ask that this time limit is respected so that all guests may have a wonderful experience.
  • What time do I need to arrive for my ticket time slot?
    • Please arrive 10 minutes early for your scheduled launch time. Launches are every 30 minutes, guests running late will need to wait for the next launch time which will require a short wait.  
  • Is there a wait time to get in?
    • Earth Illuminated launches every 30 minutes. Depending on the next closest launch time from when you arrive, you and your party may have to wait up to 30 minutes. 
  • What can I do if I have a short wait?
    • You and your party are welcome to check out our gift shop and enjoy our Starport Bar where you can enjoy a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Seating with tables is also provided for your convenience.
  • Can I store my items during my visit?
    • Locker rentals are provided for guests who are interested in checking their bags during their launch. Rentals are available online and in person.
  • Can we take pictures and video?
    • Yes, take as many as you like! Photos and media taken inside of Earth Illuminated are permitted for personal use only.
    • Commercial photography for brands or companies is NOT allowed without prior permission and/or private rental. We reserve the right to ask anyone found taking commercial photography to leave. To inquire about commercial shoots please contact info@earthilluminated.com.
  • Can I rent a selfie stick or tripod?
    • Our all in one selfie stick and tripod rentals are available online and in person for guests who want an easy way to document their adventures through Earth Illuminated. Whether you are alone or in a group, this rental is perfect for you!
  • Do you validate parking?
    • Parking garage validation is provided to all guests who purchase bundles or our date night package. 
  • Are transfers or refunds available?
    • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Need to exchange your tickets for another day and time? Email us at info@earthillumaited.com for assistance.
  • Do you have a gift shop?
    • We have just the souvenir for you to take home and remember what a great time you had at Earth Illuminated.
  • Is there a place to purchase beverages at Earth Illuminated?
    • You can enjoy a selection of non-alcoholic beverages at our Starport Bar!
  • Do you allow food and drink?
    • Food and drink purchased at our Starport Bar is authorized during your launch.
    • No outside food or drink is allowed during your launch. Lockers are available for rent for guests with food and drink purchased separate from Earth Illuminated.
  • Do you have a restroom?
    • Restrooms are available for all paying guests.
  • Is Earth Illuminated Spanish friendly?
    • We provide Spanish translations with all our signage and wording, some onsite crew members are also available to assist you.
  • Is Earth Illuminated ADA-accessible?
    • Earth Illuminated is an ADA-accessible experience. If you require special assistance please feel free to call or email us to request special accommodations. Call us at (720) 897-3855 or email in via info@earthilluminated.com 
  • Is Earth Illuminated enjoyable for individuals that have impaired sight?
    • We encourage guests that are unable to enjoy the artwork and story with their eyes to interact and touch everything. Some areas in our show are great for removing your shoes, feeling the walls, laying down, and listening.   • Is Earth Illuminated safe for individuals with Epilepsy?
    • Earth Illuminated does consist of art made from colored lighting, projection, latex, plastic, and some smells. Our show does not include any flashing or flickering lights, however for any concerns about your specific type of epilepsy or if you require special assistance, please feel free to call or email us to request special accommodations.   • What additional procedures are you implementing because of COVID-19?
    • To ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members, we are closely following all updates regarding COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Florida Department of Public Health and the Environment.

Earth Illuminated Code of Conduct

Earth Illuminated is dedicated to providing a safe and positive experience for all our guests and crew. The following regulations will be upheld and individuals will not be permitted to enter or will be asked to leave if any of the following regulations are violated.

  • Inappropriate clothing or attire of any kind, that would compromise our Family-Friendly experience.
    • Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times.
    • Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate.
    • Clothing that does not sufficiently cover undergarments is prohibited.
    • Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics.
  • Possession of illegal drugs or substances of any kind
    • Alcohol, marijuana
  • Smoking or vaping of any kind
  • Appearance or conduct that suggests intoxication
  • Attempting to bring or sneak in restricted items
    • (See FAQ on restricted substances and items.)
  • Use of vulgar, indecent, threatening, or discriminatory language with other guests or crew.
  • Use of obscene or offensive gestures with guests or crew.
  • If you make other guests or crew uncomfortable with unwelcome sexual attention or engaging in inappropriate physical contact.
  • If you engage in unsafe activities.
  • If you destroy, steal, or vandalize Earth Illuminated property of any kind.
  • Selling or displaying goods and services without prior written approval. 
  • Distributing printed or recorded material without prior written approval
  • Engaging in unauthorized solicitation of any kind, whether commercial, religious, educational, or otherwise, or any unauthorized commercial activities, including solicitations of money or donations.

Our crew is trained to intervene where and when necessary. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Restricted Items

For the safety of our guests and crew the following items and substances are NOT allowed at Earth Illuminated. 

  • Self-defense weapons and devices
    • Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind.
    • Self-defense or restraining devices. (i.e pepper spray, mace, etc.)
  • Objects, toys, and props that appear to be a firearm or weapon of any kind, or appear to be for inappropriate use. 
  • Recreational devices
    • Drones, remote-control toys, bikes, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, or shoes with built-in wheels.
  • Alcohol, marijuana, or any other illegal substance.
  • Any live animals that are not a certified service animal.
    • Guests with service animals will be asked to present certification papers. Our crew will work with all guests to best support them and their animals during their visit.
    • Guests with non-service animals will be asked to kindly leave the premises. 
  • Backpacks, purses, and bags larger that 8”x 8”
    • Lockers are available for guests to rent during their visit, bags that don’t fit in the provided lockers may be asked to be taken to a vehicle for safe keeping. 

Our crew is trained to intervene where and when necessary. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
