Where is Earth Illuminated located?

Our premier Denver art exhibit is open in the Denver Pavilions on the corner of Welton and 16th Street. We are in Suite 280 on the second floor above Distortions Monster World and next to Express.

Is Earth Illuminated ADA-accessible?

Yes, Earth Illuminated is an ADA-accessible immersive experience.

What time do I need to arrive at for my timed ticket?

Please arrive on-time for your entry time. If you miss your entry time, we cannot guarantee that we will have availability when you arrive. Your ticket is only valid for the date and time purchased.

How long should I plan to be at Earth Illuminated?

While it differs for everyone, most people will spend around 45 to 60 minutes inside our Denver art attraction. We ask that you respect the one-hour time limit to ensure safe occupancy levels.

Can we take pictures and video?

Yes, take as many as you like! Photos and media taken inside of Earth Illuminated are permitted for personal use only.

Commercial photography for brands or companies is NOT allowed without prior permission and/or private rental, and we reserve the right to ask anyone found taking commercial photography to leave. To inquire about commercial shoots please contact info@earthilluminated.com.

What ages is Earth Illuminated appropriate for?

It is appropriate for all ages. Children ages five and under enjoy free admission!

Do you have onsite security?

In addition to the Denver Pavilions security team, we employ private security to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.

What is your code of conduct?

We are dedicated to providing a safe and positive experience for all of our guests and staff. To ensure we are able to do so, you will not be allowed to enter or will be removed from the attraction for the following reasons:

  • If you possess or use illegal drugs.
  • If you appear intoxicated.
  • If you try to vape or smoke inside the building.
  • If you try to sneak in restricted items (see other FAQ on restricted items).
  • If you use vulgar, indecent, threatening, or discriminatory language with staff or guests.
  • If you use obscene or offensive gestures with staff or guests.
  • If you are dressed inappropriately for our family-friendly environment. Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment is not permitted. Clothing that does not sufficiently cover undergarments is prohibited.
    If you are wearing clothing or have tattoos with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics.
  • If you make others uncomfortable with unwelcome sexual attention or engage inappropriate physical contact.
  • If you engage in unsafe activities.
  • If you destroy or steal Earth Illuminated property.
  • If you try to sell or display goods and services without prior written approval.
  • If you try to distribute printed or recorded materials without prior written approval.
  • If you engage in unauthorized solicitations of any kind, whether commercial, religious, educational, or otherwise, or any unauthorized commercial activities, including solicitations of money or donations.

Our staff is trained to intervene where and when necessary. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Can I purchase tickets when I get there?

Not at this time. All of our ticketing is done online. You can purchase tickets easily on your phone, laptop, or other devices. You do not need printed tickets. You may purchase a ticket up to one hour before the start of your time slot.

Do you offer group rates?

Yes! You can book group rates automatically through our ticketing system for groups of ten or more. For private events, contact us at info@earthilluminated.com.

Are transfers or refunds available?

Unfortunately, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Need to exchange your tickets for another day and time? Check the confirmation email after purchasing tickets for details. 

Do you accept cash?

We do not accept cash at this time. To limit person-to-person contact, we are only accepting credit and debit cards.

Do you have a retail store?

Absolutely! We have just the souvenir for you to take home and remember what a great time you had at Earth Illuminated.

Do you have a restroom?

Yes! There are public restrooms in the Denver Pavilions for guests to use. Just ask one of our team members where the nearest bathroom is located.

Is there a coat check?

No. We do not offer coat check service at this time, so plan on carrying your belongings with you or leaving them behind before entering. You are responsible for whatever you bring into the Denver museum.

What additional procedures are you implementing because of COVID-19?

To ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members, we are closely following all updates regarding COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment, and the City and County of Denver. What items are prohibited?

For the safety of our guests and staff, the following items are not allowed in the attraction:

  • Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind.
  • Self-defense or restraining devices (eg pepper spray, mace).
  • Alcohol, marijuana, or any illegal substance.
  • Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons.
  • Recreational devices such as drones, remote-control toys, bikes, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, or shoes with built-in wheels.
  • Backpacks, purses, and bags larger than 8” x 8.”
  • Any live animal that is not a certified service animal (Colorado Revised Statute 24-34-803).
